Is Recipio free?
Yes — Recipio has a generous free tier. You can save recipes, plan meals, and build grocery lists at no cost. Pro unlocks unlimited recipes, AI features, and priority support. See the full breakdown on the Pricing page.
What platforms is Recipio available on?
Recipio is available on iOS, Android, and the web at recipio.cc. There is also a Chrome extension for saving recipes as you browse. All platforms share the same library — save on one, cook on another.
How do I sign in?
You can sign in with your email (we send a one-time code — no password needed), Google, or Apple. Go to recipio.cc/login or open the mobile app to get started.
Saving Recipes
How do I save a recipe from a website?
Three ways:
- Chrome extension — install it, visit any recipe page, click the icon. Done.
- URL import — go to recipio.cc/import, paste the recipe URL, and we extract it automatically.
- Mobile app — use the share sheet on iOS/Android to share a recipe URL directly to Recipio.
Can I save recipes from TikTok or Instagram?
Yes. The Chrome extension detects recipe content in TikTok and Instagram Reels captions automatically. On mobile, share the video to the Recipio app and our AI will extract the recipe from the caption or video transcript.
Why didn't the extension detect a recipe on a page?
Some food blogs use non-standard HTML that our extractor doesn't recognise. Try the URL import at recipio.cc/import — it uses a more thorough AI-powered extraction. If it still fails, email us the URL and we'll look into it.
Can I manually add a recipe?
Yes — in the mobile app and web app you can create a recipe from scratch by entering the title, ingredients, and steps manually.
Syncing & Devices
My recipes aren't showing up on another device — what do I do?
Make sure you're signed into the same account on both devices. Sync happens automatically when you open the app with an internet connection. Pull down to refresh on the My Recipes screen. If it still doesn't sync, sign out and back in.
Does Recipio work offline?
Yes. Recipes you've already loaded are available offline on mobile. New saves will sync to the cloud next time you have a connection.
I saved a recipe on the Chrome extension but it's not in my app.
The extension saves to the cloud immediately. Open the app and pull to refresh — it should appear within seconds. If not, check that the extension is signed into the same account as your app (tap Sign In in the extension popup to verify).
Account & Billing
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google depending on where you subscribed:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Recipio → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments → Subscriptions → Recipio → Cancel
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app or web dashboard. This permanently deletes all your recipes, meal plans, and account data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
I can't log in — I'm not receiving the email code.
Check your spam/junk folder first. The email comes from no-reply@recipio.app. If it's not there, wait 60 seconds and request a new code. Still nothing? Email us at support@recipio.app and we'll manually verify your account.
Chrome Extension
How do I install the Chrome extension?
Search for "Recipio" in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Once installed, click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin Recipio for easy access.
The extension says "Sign in" even though I'm already logged in on recipio.cc.
Make sure you're signed in at recipio.cc in the same Chrome profile, then refresh the recipio.cc tab. The extension reads your session from that tab. If it still shows signed out, click "Sign in to Recipio" in the extension — it will open recipio.cc where you can sign in and the session will sync back automatically.
