
Gently heat 1-2 tbsp of sesame oil in a pan.
Pan-fry tofu slices until golden brown on both sides, flipping halfway.
Optional: Coat tofu slices lightly in corn flour for a crisp texture.
If using silken-firm tofu, wrap it in kitchen towels and place a small saucepan on top to drain excess water for 10-15 minutes.
Remove the tofu and set aside.

Once fragrant, add 250-300 ml coconut milk and bring to a light simmer.

Once simmering, add back the cooked tofu and heaps of fresh basil.
Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds, serve over rice.
