  • ·cup moong dal
  • ·cups water
  • ·ghee or coconut oil
  • ·salt

    Rinse quinoa and moong dal together.

    In a pot, add the rinsed quinoa, moong dal, and water.

    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until cooked.

    In a separate pan, heat ghee or coconut oil.

    Add jeera, cashews, hing, ginger, green chillies, and crushed black pepper to the hot oil.

    Add curry leaves and cilantro if available for extra flavor.

    Pour the tadka over the cooked quinoa and dal mixture.

    Mix well and serve warm.
