Mix all ingredients under Ompodi, adding water gradually to form a soft dough consistency.

Use an Idiyappam or Murukku press to make sev and deep-fry until crispy.

For Kara Boondi, mix ingredients and add water gradually to form a semi-thick batter. Use a mesh ladle to pour and tap the batter, making boondis. Deep-fry until crispy.

Deep-fry poha, garlic, cashews, peanuts, roasted bengal gram and curry leaves separately.

Mix everything, adding red chilli powder, salt, and sugar to taste.
