Delicious churro fries made from boiled potatoes and bread, perfect for dipping!

  • ·slices Bread slices
  • ·tbsp Cornflour
  • ·pieces Green chilli
  • ·tsp Chilli flakes
  • ·tsp Black pepper
  • ·tsp Oregano
  • ·tsp Salt
  • ·tsp Garlic powder
  • ·tbsp Fresh coriander

    Soak bread briefly and squeeze till bone dry, then tear into small bits and add to mashed potatoes.

    Add all spices and cornflour, then mix and press to form a tight dough.

    Chill dough for 10–15 minutes before piping to firm up starch and improve shape.

    Use a large star nozzle to pipe directly onto parchment or tray, ensuring medium thickness.

    Freeze for 30–40 minutes until fully firm.

    Fry at 170–175°C straight from the freezer until deep golden and crispy.
