  • ·pieces Shallots
  • ·cloves Garlic
  • ·pieces Green chilli
  • ·piece Tomato
  • ·leaves Curry leaves
  • ·tablespoons Coconut oil
  • ·teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • ·teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
  • ·teaspoon Pepper powder/crushed
  • ·Salt

    Lightly fry the prawns with some turmeric powder and salt. Set aside.

    In the same pan, add oil, sliced shallots, chillies, garlic and sauté.

    Once the shallots are translucent, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pepper powder and sauté well until it’s well cooked. Make sure the masala doesn’t get burnt.

    Add tomato and sauté.

    Add curry leaves.

    Add the prawns and gently mix everything together.

    Adjust the salt. Cook for another 10 minutes.
