Prawn Fry Pulao
A delicious and aromatic Prawn Fry Pulao made with basmati rice and spiced prawns.

- ·cups basmati rice
- ·cups water
- ·tbsp oil
- ·tbsp ghee
- ·peppercorns
- ·cloves
- ·cardamom
- ·inch cinnamon
- ·stone flower
- ·bay leaves
- ·onion
- ·green chillies
- ·cashews
- ·mint leaves
- ·coriander leaves
- ·tbsp ginger garlic paste
- ·salt
- ·lemon juice
- ·g cleaned prawns
- ·tbsp oil
- ·cardamom
- ·cloves
- ·inch cinnamon

- ·tbsp ginger garlic paste
- ·tsp chilli powder
- ·tsp turmeric
- ·tbsp garam masala
- ·coriander leaves

Instructions

Heat oil + ghee in a kadai. Add all whole spices, sauté till aromatic.

Add onions & green chillies → sauté till soft.

Add cashews → fry till golden.

Add mint & coriander → mix well.

Add ginger garlic paste → sauté.

Add washed rice → mix gently.

Pour water + salt → cover & cook till rice is done.

Finish with a squeeze of lemon.

Heat oil, add whole spices → sauté.

Add onions & green chillies → cook till soft.

Add curry leaves + ginger garlic paste → sauté.

Add prawns → cook till water releases & dries.

Add chilli powder, turmeric & salt → mix well.

Add garam masala → roast till nicely coated.
