Salt Bread Bagels
Delicious upgraded version of salt bread bagels, perfect for a late-night snack.

- ยทg sugar
- ยทg salt
- ยทg dry yeast
- ยทg water
- ยทg unsalted butter
- ยทg vegetable oil
- ยทg room temperature butter
- ยทL water for boiling
- ยทT honey
- ยทpearl salt

Mix strong flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and water at low speed for 3 minutes.

Add butter and oil, then mix at medium speed for 4-5 minutes.

Let the dough rise at room temperature for 40-50 minutes until it doubles in size.

Prepare the butter filling by softening room temperature butter and mixing in a little salt, then place it in a piping bag.

Divide the dough into 4 equal parts (about 105g each) and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Shape the dough into an oval, pipe the butter filling in the center, and roll it to form a bagel shape.

Let the shaped bagels rest at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.

Boil water with honey and blanch the bagels for 30 seconds on each side.

Sprinkle pearl salt on top.

Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 18 minutes.
