A flavorful rice bowl featuring prawns marinated in spices and cooked with aromatic ingredients.
Ingredients (18)
- ยทgms medium sized prawns
- ยทtsp turmeric
- ยทtsp chilli powder
- ยทblack pepper corns
- ยทcardamom
- ยทinch cinnamon
- ยทclove
- ยทtsp cumin seeds
- ยทCurry leaves
- ยทdiced onion
- ยทchopped tomato
- ยทtbsp ginger garlic paste
- ยทtsp coriander powder
- ยทtsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- ยทtsp salt
- ยทcup water
- ยทtbsp butter
- ยทNeutral oil
Instructions

Marinate the prawns with salt, turmeric and chilli powder.

Fry it in butter for 3 to 4 minutes and take it out.

Add oil, once hot add the whole spices and curry leaves.

Add the onion and cook till brownish before adding the ginger garlic paste.

Fry for 3 minutes before adding the tomatoes, add a pinch of salt and cook till it softens.

Add all the spices mentioned with water and cook on low till oil separates.

Add back in the prawns, coat it with the masala and finish with curry leaves.
