- ·tsp Jeera (cumin seeds)
- ·tsp Chana dal
- ·tsp Urad dal
- ·tsp Coriander seeds
- ·tsp Methi seeds
- ·Dry red chillies
- ·Garlic cloves
- ·Oil
- ·Salt
- ·tsp Oil (for tempering)
- ·tsp Mustard seeds
- ·tsp Cumin seeds (for tempering)
- ·tsp Chana dal (for tempering)
- ·tsp Urad dal (for tempering)
- ·Curry leaves
- ·Hing (asafoetida)

Sauté jeera, chana dal, urad dal, coriander seeds, methi seeds, and dry red chillies in little oil on low flame until golden.

Cool and powder the sautéed mixture.

Add raw mango pieces and grind coarsely.

For tempering, heat oil and add mustard seeds, letting them splatter.
