Coconut Milk Chicken Pulao

- ·cup rice
- ·g chicken
- ·tbsp ghee
- ·tbsp oil
- ·tsp pepper
- ·stick cinnamon stick
- ·cardamom
- ·cloves
- ·bay leaf
- ·cashews
- ·curry leaves
- ·slit green chillies
- ·onion
- ·tomato
- ·tsp ginger garlic paste
- ·tsp turmeric
- ·tsp chilli powder
- ·tsp coriander powder
- ·tsp cumin powder
- ·tsp garam masala
- ·salt
- ·cups coconut milk
- ·coriander leaves
Instructions

Heat a pressure cooker and add ghee and oil.

Add pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, bay leaf, cashews and curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds.

Add slit green chillies and chopped onions and cook until the onions turn light golden.

Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds, then add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.

Add chicken, salt and turmeric and mix well.

Now add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala and cook for a minute.

Add washed rice and mix gently.

Pour 1.5 cups coconut milk for 1 cup rice, add coriander leaves and mix.

Close the lid and cook for 2 whistles until the pulao is perfectly cooked.
