- ·tsp instant yeast
- ·tbsp sugar
- ·egg
- ·cup melted butter
- ·cups all-purpose flour
- ·tsp salt
- ·cup more solid butter
- ·melted butter for brushing
- ·egg
- ·tbsp water or milk

In a bowl, combine warm milk, instant yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for a few minutes until bubbly.

Add the egg, melted butter, all-purpose flour, and salt to the mixture. Knead until a soft dough forms.

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out. Spread the more solid butter on top.

Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls. Place them in a greased baking dish.
