Pepper Steak with Onions and Yellow Rice

A delicious pepper steak dish served with sautéed onions and vibrant yellow rice.
Ingredients (15)
- ·lbs sirloin or flank steak
- ·tablespoons olive oil
- ·whole green bell pepper
- ·whole red bell pepper
- ·large onion
- ·cloves garlic
- ·teaspoon paprika
- ·teaspoon cumin
- ·teaspoon salt
- ·teaspoon black pepper
- ·cup soy sauce
- ·cup beef broth
- ·tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ·tablespoon cornstarch
- ·cups cooked yellow rice

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season steak with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

Add remaining oil and sauté onions and bell peppers for 4–5 minutes until tender.

Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and cornstarch.
