Nawabi Chicken Korma
A flavorful Indian chicken curry made with aromatic spices and a creamy sauce.

- ยทinch cinnamon stick

To a dry pan add coriander seeds, jeera seeds, fennel seeds, Javitri, dry chillies, black pepper seeds, cinnamon stick, cardamom, and cloves.

Dry roast it for 3 to 4 minutes and grind into a powder.

Slice the onion and deep fry until golden brown. Keep it aside.

Remove most of the oil from the pan, keeping about 4 tsp of oil.

Add 1.5 tbsp of the masala mix along with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste to the oil.

Saute for 3 minutes and add in the chicken along with 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder.

Cook covered and stir occasionally till the chicken is 90% cooked.

Meanwhile, blend curd, cashews, and the fried onion into a paste.

Add the paste to the chicken along with a little water to adjust the consistency.

Simmer covered till oil resurfaces and the chicken is completely cooked.

Finish with a dollop of ghee.
