Bachelor Chicken Peratal
A spicy homemade masala + crispy roasted onions = the perfect bachelor-friendly chicken!

- ·tbsp Coriander seeds
- ·tsp Black pepper
- ·tsp Cumin seeds
- ·small piece Cinnamon
- ·No's Cloves
- ·Cardamom
- ·tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- ·tsp Red chilli powder
- ·tsp Turmeric powder
- ·Salt
- ·Inch Ginger
- ·No's Garlic
- ·tbsp Water
- ·g Chicken
- ·tbsp Oil
- ·large, thinly sliced Onion

Grind the masala: Add all the whole spices, chilli powders, turmeric and salt. Add a little water and grind into a smooth paste.

Marinate the chicken: Coat the chicken with the masala paste and marinate for 30 minutes (If you’re in a hurry, you can cook immediately.)

Roast the onions: Heat oil in a pan and roast the sliced onions until golden brown and crispy.

Cook the chicken: Add the marinated chicken to the roasted onions. Cook on medium flame, cover and let it cook until the chicken turns soft and the masala thickens. Once oil separates and the masala becomes dry, your Bachelor Chicken Peratal is ready!
