    Dry roast coriander seeds, channa dal, urad dal, cumin, black pepper, fenugreek seeds until fragrant.

    Add oil to a pan and heat. Add the roasted spices and chillies, and sauté.

    Add curry leaves, black sesame, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, and hing.

    In another pan, heat oil and add peanuts, channa dal, urad dal, cashews, and dry red chillies.

    Add curry leaves and hing to the mixture.

    In a bowl, combine tamarind pulp, jaggery, salt, turmeric powder, and puliyogare powder.

    Mix the sautéed ingredients with the tamarind mixture.

    Finally, add grated dry coconut and mix well.

  9. 9

    Serve with chutney.
