- ·whole onion
- ·whole bell pepper
- ·cloves garlic
- ·tbsp butter
- ·tbsp olive oil
- ·salt & black pepper
- ·tsp paprika
- ·slices provolone, mozzarella, or cheddar cheese
- ·whole baguette or soft loaf
- ·tbsp softened butter
- ·cloves garlic
- ·tbsp grated Parmesan
- ·parsley

Prepare the Garlic Parmesan Bread: Mix butter, minced garlic, and Parmesan. Spread generously on the bread halves. Bake at 190°C for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy.

Cook the Cheesesteak Filling: Heat butter + oil in a skillet. Add onions (and peppers if using). Sauté until soft and golden. Push to the side and add the thin-sliced beef. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until just browned, then mix with the onions. Lay cheese slices over the top and let melt.

Build the Sandwich: Load the cheesy beef mixture onto the garlic-parmesan bread. Top with extra cheese if you love it ultra-melty. Slice & serve HOT!
